With the benefit of hindsight I can look back and realise that not only where they terrible role models they where also terrible decisions.
We idolise some pretty weird people. Noel Fielding was one of the top celebrities idolised by millennials (in a survey we carried out). A man who claims that “it is impossible to be unhappy in a poncho”. Gemma Collins, or the big GC was also up there. That is a women who thought Femfresh was deodorant. And of course I can’t get Theroux this article with out mentioning the living legend that is Louis Theroux.
What effect do these people have on our lives? Andy Warhol once said that “everyone will be famous for 15 minutes”. He was indeed, correct. With the help of social media everyone from @cashcats to a fat jewish man (literally he is known as @thefatjewish) can have their shot at the lime light. How do you go from being Paris Hilton, a girl who made a sex tape to Paris Hilton, a millennial icon.
